A former town in Sera County, central Hiroshima Prefecture. It occupies part of the Kibi Plateau, with the main settlement being Oguni. Rice is the main agricultural industry, and they also grow vegetables, raise Japanese beef and dairy cows, and produce a lot of matsutake mushrooms.
