Ikawa [town] - Ikawa
This is an old town in Miyoshi County, occupying the mountainous area on the south bank of the Yoshino River in western Tokushima Prefecture. The main settlement, Tsuji, is at the mouth of the Inouchidani River, and the Tokushima Line runs through it. It was once a major producer of Awa shredded tobacco. It also produces vegetables, tea, and fruit, and is involved in sericulture. In March 2006, it merged with the towns of Mino, Ikeda, Yamashiro, Higashiiyayama, and Nishiiyayama in Miyoshi County to become a city. 44.50 km2 . 5,126 people (2003).

A town in Minamiakita County, central Akita Prefecture, occupying the eastern shore of Lake Hachirogata. It is a paddy field area, and farming and livestock are also carried out. It is located along the Ou Main Line. Area: 47.95 km2 . Population: 5,493 (2010).
