This is the diary of Jinson, the 19th head priest of Daijo-in Temple at Kofuku-ji Temple in Nara. His handwritten works are divided into 12 volumes of "Temple Affairs Requests" (167 volumes of "Daijo-in Temple and Shrine Miscellaneous Records") and 20 volumes of "Jinson Daisojoki" (Records of the Jinson Priest's Affairs) and are held in the National Archives of Japan. Jinson also has 52 volumes of "An'ijidono Gojiki" (Autobiography of the An'iji Temple). The Hinamiki (Daily Diary) spans the years from 1450 (Houtoku 2) to 1508 (Eisho 5). Other records include the Wakamiya Saidengaku Touki (Record of Wakamiya Festivals and Music) from 1460 (4th year of Choroku), the Kawara Kanjin Sarugaku Ki (Record of Sarugaku at the Riverside) from 1464 (5th year of Kansho), and the Jion-eki (Record of Jion-eki) from 1471 (3rd year of Bunmei). The contents cover not only the affairs of Kofuku-ji Temple and the governance of the temple lands, but also the activities of the shogunate, shugo daimyo, and nobles before and after the Onin War, as well as the movements of local powers such as kokujin and peasant uprisings, making them important historical documents from the middle and late Muromachi periods. There is also a published book, Daijo-in Temple and Shrine Miscellaneous Records (12 volumes).
