(1886-1978), a well-known ethnomusicologist. Around 1940, he formed a group with Woody Guthrie (1912-67) and other friends and began performing. After World War II, he continued to sing while becoming deeply involved in social activities such as the anti-war movement, and wrote songs with socially conscious messages such as "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" …
