A mountain range that runs for 400 km along the Pacific coast in the southwestern border area between Canada and the United States (Alaska). It contains high peaks such as Mt. Logan (6,050 m), the second highest in North America and the highest in Canada, and Mt. St. Elias (5,489 m), and large glaciers such as Malaspina are comparable to those in the Himalayas. Mt.
