A carrying device made of a woven basket made of bamboo or willow with a rope attached to it, allowing it to be carried on the back. It is often used to carry light weight items, such as grass clippings and wild vegetables, which are large in volume. There are three ways to carry it: head support, shoulder support, and chest support, but all three are seen in the Izu Islands. The most common way nationwide is shoulder support, but the head support is considered to be the more primitive form.
