In Latin, it is called Decretales Pseudo-Isidorianae. It is a collection of church laws created in northern France in the mid-9th century, and is the largest of the so-called "Pseudo-Isidorian documents" named after Isidore of Seville. The actual name of the editor is unknown. It contains arguments for the primacy of the Pope and the rule of the Papal States, as well as the famous "Donation of Constantine" (proven to be a forgery by L. Balla), and other documents, and has had a long and influential influence. → Related Articles Church Law Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
