Nishikore [town] - Seihi

Japanese: 西彼[町] - せいひ

An old town in the northeastern part of the Nishisonogi Peninsula, Nishisonogi County, Nagasaki Prefecture. There are rolling hills and little flat land. The coast of Omura Bay is very winding, and with terraced fields cultivated all the way to the mountaintops, it is a very scenic place. Rice, watermelons, potatoes, and mandarin oranges are produced here, and beef cattle are raised, pigs are raised, and basalt is mined. At the northern end is Saikai Bridge. In April 2005, it merged with Nishisonogi County's Nishikai Town, Oshima Town, Sakito Town, and Oseto Town to become a city, Saikai City. ^{68.49 km2} . 9,890 people (2003).

長崎県西彼杵(にしそのぎ)郡，西彼杵半島北東部の旧町。丘陵が起伏し平地は少ない。大村湾岸は屈曲に富み，山頂まで耕された段々畑とともに風光にすぐれる。米，スイカ，ジャガイモ，ミカンの産があり，肉牛肥育，養豚，玄武岩採掘も行われる。北端に西海(さいかい)橋がある。2005年４月西彼杵郡西海町，大島町，崎戸町，大瀬戸町と合併し市制，西海市となる。68.49km²。9890人（2003）。
