The name "kue" was originally used in Kochi Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, and Wakayama Prefecture, and is called "kuemasu" in Futagi Island, Mie Prefecture, "kyomodori" in Wakayama Prefecture, and "ara" in Shimonoseki. In Kochi Prefecture, the juveniles of this species are called "aona" or "igisu." …
