A medical book. A representative work by Manase Gensaku (Dosan II, 1549-1631). Two volumes. Published in 1607 (Keicho 12). It is a record of Gensaku's medical practice over a period of 30 years, from 1576 (Tensho 4) when he was 28 to 58 years old, and contains records of the patients' real names, ages, and dates of first consultation for 60 categories of illness, from paralysis to measles, making it an important historical document as well. This is a valuable collection of 345 cases of medical tests, including those of famous people of the time, including Emperor Masahito, Emperor Goyozei, Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Hideyori, and Hidetsugu, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Hidetada, Mori Terumoto, Gamo Ujisato, and Kato Kiyomasa, as well as nobles, empresses, literary figures, foot soldiers, and ordinary people.
