Iga (Clothes Moth) - Iga
A species of the family Tineidae in the order Lepidoptera. Widely distributed from temperate to cold zones. Gray-brown in color, with a span of about 12 mm. The larvae are yellowish-white, about 10 mm, and feed on woolen fabrics and fur, weaving hair together to make nests. At suitable temperatures, several generations occur per year. Parasol is effective for control.
