A town in the southwest of Gifu Prefecture, in the Abachi district. Part of the Nobi Plain, surrounded by the Ibi and Nagara rivers, it is dotted with scattered Waju settlements, where rice and vegetable cultivation is practiced. It has become highly urbanized, and many people commute to the neighboring city of Ogaki to the west. 18.16 km2 . Population: 15,271 (2010).
