Japanese: 白骨[温泉] - しらほね

Also known as Shirafune Onsen. A hot spring in Azumi Village, Minamiazumi District, Nagano Prefecture (now Matsumoto City). It springs from the Yukawa Valley, a tributary of the Azusa River, at the northeastern foot of Mt. Norikura, at an altitude of 1,400m. Carbonated and hydrogen sulfide spring. 50°C. In the Edo period, the hot spring was known for its effectiveness against eczema, and hot spring inns were established there. Nearby, there is a volcanic cone with a large amount of travertine deposits, and spherical limestone formed in the hot spring (both are special natural monuments). It belongs to Chubu Sangaku National Park, and there is a bus service from Matsumoto Electric Railway Shinshimashima Station.

白船温泉とも。長野県南安曇(みなみあずみ)郡安曇村（現・松本市）にある温泉。乗鞍岳北東麓，梓(あずさ)川の支流湯川渓谷中にわき，標高1400m。炭酸泉・硫化水素泉。50℃。江戸時代には湿瘡に効く湯として知られ，湯宿が置かれていた。付近に多量の石灰華が堆積した噴湯丘と，温泉中にできた球状石灰石（ともに特別天然記念物）がある。中部山岳国立公園に属し，松本電鉄新島々駅からバスが通じる。
