Andrew

Japanese: アンデレ
Andrew
An early Christian apostle. His Greek name Andreas means "manly." He was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and the brother of Peter (Simon). He was a fisherman (Mark 1:16ff., 3:13ff., Acts 1:13). According to the Gospel of John, he was a former disciple of John the Baptist, who is said to have been the forerunner of Jesus (1:35, 40), and was from Bethsaida (1:44). He is often mentioned alongside Philip, who was from the same place (Mark 3:18, John 1:44, 12:22, Acts 1:13).
