Mr. Shouji

Japanese:
Mr. Shouji
A medieval samurai family from Musashi. They were the first of the seven Musashi clans, the Kodama clan, and their descendants spread to various places after Hirotaka became the governor of the manor. In particular, Hirotaka's nephew Takaie (some say the head of the family was Shotaro) who was called Shoshiro and distinguished himself in the Battle of Ichinotani. He was given Kusakabe Manor in Bitchu Province, and the family is famous for settling and developing there. Shoshiro, who is certified as a land steward of Hojo-go in Hoki Province (a member of the Hojo clan as a land steward) in the mid-Kamakura period, as well as Sho (Sho) Sukekane and Matsuomaru, who are thought to be vassals in Kyoto, and Sho Sukefusa, a vassal of the Rokuhara Tandai, are also presumably from this family.
