Office building - Jimushokenchiku (English) office building
The main part of the building is designed for use as an office and its ancillary rooms. With the development of commerce and industry after the Industrial Revolution, the number of office buildings has increased dramatically in order to streamline office functions for efficiency and economy. They are often concentrated in specific areas, which creates a need for efficient land use and, combined with advances in building technologies such as reinforced concrete and steel structure, has promoted the emergence of high-rise and super-tall buildings. In recent years, intelligent buildings have been increasingly equipped with office automation and advanced information and communication functions, providing comfortable working environments.
