Japanese: JR連合 - ジェーアールれんごう

Its official name is the Japan Railway Workers' Union Federation. It is an affiliated union of RENGO. It was newly formed within JR in 1992 when Tetsusansoren (Japan Railway Workers' Union Confederation) and organizations affiliated with the former Tetsuro merged. Between 1991 and early 1992, an organizational split occurred within JR Soren, with the JR West, JR Central, and JR Kyushu unions splitting up and withdrawing one after another. On the other hand, Tetsusansoren was formed in 1987 by a group that withdrew from Kokuro due to conflict over the policy of dividing up and privatizing JNR.

正称は日本鉄道労働組合連合会。連合の加盟組合。1992年，鉄産総連(日本鉄道産業労働組合総連合)と旧鉄労系の組織が合流してJR内に新たに結成された組織である。1991年から92年初めにかけて，JR総連内部で組織分裂が起こり，JR西労組，JR東海労組，JR九州労組で分裂･脱退が相次いだ。他方，鉄産総連は，87年に，国鉄の分割･民営化方針をめぐる対立により，国労から脱退したグループによって結成された組織であった。
