The Articles of Faith of the Church of England. These clarify the doctrinal position of the Church of England against Catholics and Protestants. Based on the Forty-Two Articles of Faith of 1553, they were drafted by Archbishop M. Parker, who was the Archbishop of Canterbury, and approved by Parliament in 1571 during the reign of Elizabeth I, establishing the doctrine of the Church of England.
