Sayan Mountains - Sayan-sanchi

Japanese: サヤン山地 - サヤンさんち

A mountain range in southern Siberia, Russia. It consists of two mountain ranges, one east and one west, which intersect in an almost T-shape. The western range is about 650 km long, runs northeast from Lake Teletskoye, and meets the eastern range. The eastern range is about 1000 km long, runs southeast from the left bank of the Yenisei River, and reaches the border with Mongolia. The highest peak is Mount Munkh-Sardyk (3491 m) on the eastern range.

ロシア，南シベリアの山脈。ほぼT字形に交差する東西２山脈からなる。西脈は延長約650km，テレツコエ湖から北東に走り，東脈に突き当たる。東脈は延長約1000km，エニセイ川左岸から南東に走り，モンゴルとの国境に達する。最高峰は東脈のムンク・サルディク山（3491m）。
