The name of a place in Nara City. Formerly Saho Village, Soekami County, Yamato Province. In the Nara period, it was the residence of a high-ranking official. ※Manyoshu (late 8th century) 3.300 "The offerings left at the foot of Nairaku after Saho are for the sister to keep her eyes on her and to make them see each other."
