Republic of Sakha (English spelling)

A republic belonging to the Russian Federation. Its official name is the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In Yakut, it is called Sakha Respublikata. Yakutia has also been used as the name of this region since ancient times. In April 1922, it became the Yakut Autonomous Republic within the Russian Soviet Republic, and after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, it became a republic with its current name in 1992. ロシア連邦に属する共和国。正称はサハ共和国(ヤクーチア)Respublika Sakha(Yakutiya)。ヤクート語ではSakha Respublikata。〈ヤクーチア〉は古来，この地域の名称としても使われた。1922年4月，ソ連邦ロシア共和国内のヤクートYakut自治共和国となり，1991年のソ連邦の解体後，92年現名称の共和国となった。面積310万3200km2，人口109万4000(1989)。
