Sada Shinnou

Japanese: 佐陀神能 - さだしんのう

(Kashimacho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture)
A regional heritage site designated as an "intangible cultural heritage."
It is performed at the Ozeki-kae Festival (September 25th) of Sada Shrine in Kashima Town, formerly Yatsuka County, and consists of three parts: the Shichiza dance, which is a purification dance to welcome the gods, the Shiki Sanban dance, and the Shinno dance, which are celebratory dances influenced by Noh theater. It is characterized by its incorporation of elements of Noh theater. Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property
