Complete Collection of Daietsushiki - Daietsushikizensho

The official history of Vietnam, written in chronological order in classical Chinese. In 1479, Ngo Si Lien, a historian of the Sacred Order of the Le Dynasty, revised the Records of Dai Viet Hsien compiled by Le Van Phu and the Continued Records of Dai Viet Hsien by Phan Fu Tien to compose the Complete Records of Dai Viet Hsien. He then submitted the Records to the Sacred Order and passed them down as the official history, consisting of five volumes of the Records of the Outer Records and nine volumes of the Records of the Basic Records. This refers to the accumulation of the history-making work of the Le Dynasty that was passed down to later generations. Wu Shilian's Complete Works covers the period from the founding of the state to the end of the Ming dynasty's rule in China in the 15th century. After that, the 6 volumes of the Annals of the True Records, whose editor and year of compilation are unknown, were compiled, covering the first half of the Le dynasty. In 1665 Fan Gongzhuo continued the Annals of the True Records in 3 volumes, which cover the Le dynasty up to the reign of reigning emperor Shenzong. In 1697 Le Hi revised these and added one volume of the Annals of the True Records to cover the reigns of reigns Xuanzong and Jiaozong, and these 24 volumes were then engraved as the Complete Works of the Records of the Grand Historian of Dai Viet Nam.
