Allyl alcohol

2-propen-1-ol. _{CH 2} =CHCH ₂ OH (58.08). Allyl chloride is produced by high-temperature chlorination of propene, and then hydrolysis of this with an alkali gives a yield of 70-80%. It is also produced by isomerizing propene oxide in the gas phase in the presence of lithium phosphate. It is a light, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. Boiling point: 97°C. Flash point: 32°C (open), 22°C (closed). Solubility: 0.852. 1.413. It undergoes addition reactions as an alkene and condensation reactions as an alcohol, and is isomerized to propionaldehyde by high-temperature contact reactions with metal oxides, and is converted to acrylic aldehyde and then to acrylic acid by oxidation. It is an important raw material for the production of glycerin, and an intermediate for the synthesis of synthetic resins, fragrances, and chemicals, and is also used as a solvent and other purposes. 2-propen-1-ol．CH₂=CHCH₂OH(58.08)．プロペンを高温塩素化して塩化アリルをつくり，これをアルカリ加水分解すると70～80％ の収率で得られる．また，プロペンオキシドをリン酸リチウムの存在下，気相で異性化させてつくる．刺激臭のある無色の軽い液体．沸点97 ℃．引火点32 ℃(開放)，22 ℃(密閉)．0.852．1.413．アルケンとしての付加反応，アルコールとしての縮合反応をするほか，金属酸化物の高温接触反応によってプロピオンアルデヒドに異性化し，酸化によってアクリルアルデヒド，さらにアクリル酸にかわる．グリセリンの製造原料，合成樹脂，香料，化学薬品の合成中間体として重要であり，また，溶剤，そのほかに用いられる．[CAS 107-18-6]
