A classification term for shamisen music. Particularly in Bungo-style Joruri. A type of celebratory piece. A general term for new pieces that the head of a school presents at the beginning of the new year. Some pieces are only performed at that time, but some have been passed down and become celebratory pieces. The main pieces that still exist are as follows: (1) Kato-bushi "Matsu no Uchi" (Matsu no Uchi): A piece from the Kyogen "Kyosei Fuji no Takane" performed at the Edo Ichimura-za Theater in 1718 (Kyoho 3). (2) Itchu-bushi "Kinoene" (Kinoe): Published in 1804 (Bunka 1). Words by Soryu, music by Sugano Joyu 1st. (3) Itchu-bushi "Matsuoso" (Matsu-Osane): Published in 1806 (Bunka 3). Also a song celebrating the founding of Tomimoto-bushi. (6) Kiyomoto-bushi "Unohana" Original title: "Nigiwa Utami Kotobuki Manzai" (Long Live the Lively People). Published in 1831 (Tenpo 2). 三味線音楽の曲の分類用語。特に豊後系浄瑠璃でいう。祝儀曲の一種。家元が新年の弾き初めで発表する新曲の総称。そのときだけですたれたものもあるが,伝承されて祝儀曲となっているものもある。以下,現存するおもな曲は以下の通り。 (1) 河東節『松の内』 享保3 (1718) 年江戸市村座の狂言『傾城富士の高根』のなかの一曲。 (2) 一中節『甲子 (きのえね) 』 文化1 (1804) 年発表。素柳作詞,1世菅野序遊作曲。 (3) 一中節『松襲』 文化3 (06) 年発表。1世菅野序遊作曲。 (4) 常磐津節『常磐の老松』 万延1 (60) 年発表。5世岸沢式佐作曲。 (5) 富本節『長生』 本名題『年朝嘉例寿 (としのあしたかれいのことぶき) 』。寛延2 (1749) 年発表。松平南海公作詞。富本節創賀の曲でもある。 (6) 清元節『卯の花』 本名題『賑民寿万歳 (にぎわうたみことぶきまんざい) 』。天保2 (1831) 年発表。 (7) 清元節『双六』 本名題『青楼春 (さとのはる) 道中双六』。文久1 (61) 年発表。河竹黙阿弥作詞,3世清元斎兵衛作曲。
