Aran [Islands] - Aran
Three islands located at the mouth of Galway Bay on the Atlantic coast of Ireland. The main industry is fishing, and they are known for the playwright Synge's travel writings and Flaherty's documentary film Aran (1934). There are many prehistoric ruins. 46.2 km2 . About 1,600 people.
