A mountain range in the Magadan region of northeastern Siberia, Russia. It is the watershed between the Kolyma River system, which flows into the Arctic Ocean, and the Anadyr River system on the Pacific side. The Kolyma Mountains is a collective name for many mountain ranges and plateaus, but its backbone stretches from southwest to northeast along Shelikhov Bay on the northern coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, and is a mid-mountain range with an elevation of 1,500 to 1,800 meters, with the highest point being a 1,901-meter peak in the southwest. Near the coast, it is covered with coniferous forests, but in the highlands inland, it is tundra or bare land.

ロシア連邦，シベリア北東部のマガダン州にある山地。北極海に注ぐコリマ水系と太平洋側のアナディル水系の分水界にあたる。コリマ山地は多くの山脈と高原を集めた総称であるが，その脊梁部分はオホーツク海北岸シェリホフ湾に沿って南西から北東に延び，長さ約1300km，標高1500～1800m級の中山性山地で，最高点は南西部の1901m峰。沿岸部付近では針葉樹林に覆われるが，内陸部の高地ではツンドラあるいは裸地となる。
