Comorin [Cape] - Comorin
The southernmost point of India, a cape jutting out into the Indian Ocean. Also known as Kanya Kumari. Latitude 8°5'N, longitude 77°36'E. It belongs to the state of Tamil Nadu. There is a Hindu Kumari temple on the cape, and it is visited by many pilgrims.
