Born on July 16, 1897. In 1932, he studied at the Vienna Psychoanalytic Institute and studied under Freud. He advocated the theory of the "Ajatashatru complex," which focuses on the early mother-child relationship. In 1930, he founded the Japanese Psychoanalytic Society and became its first president. He passed away on October 5, 1968, at the age of 71. He was born in Kanagawa Prefecture and graduated from Tohoku Imperial University.
