Tibet is a remote region of the world, and it is not easy to reach this region from any country in the world. And above all, the region's rigid isolationist system has made it a remote region of the world for a long time. The first people to visit it were Jesuit missionaries. In 1624, Portuguese Jesuit A. de Andrade joined a Hindu pilgrim group and reached Tsaparang in Guge, a small country in the western part of Tibet. Then, in 1661, two Jesuits, J. Gruber and A. Dolbier, reached Lhasa from China.
