Koryŏng kobungun (English name)

Japanese: 高霊古墳群 - こうれいこふんぐん（英語表記）Koryŏng kobungun

It is located in Goryeong-myeon, Goryeong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. Goryeong was the royal capital of the Daegaya Kingdom (Goryeong-Gaya) and was the center of Gaya culture until it was annexed by Silla in 562. The ancient tombs are distributed in Wolsan-dong, Bonggwan-dong, Jisan-dong, and Goya-dong in the Daegacheon and Ancheon river basins, tributaries of the Nakdonggang River. Since 1910, distribution surveys and excavation of more than 10 ancient tombs have been carried out. The Jisan-dong ancient tombs, consisting of over 100 tombs, were built on the southern slope of the main mountain at an altitude of 311m. They are a group of circular tombs with pit-type stone chambers and box-type stone coffins as internal structures, and only one horizontal-hole stone chamber tomb is known.

韓国，慶尚北道高霊郡高霊面に所在する。高霊は大伽耶国(高霊加羅)の王都であって，562年に新羅に併合されるまでは，伽耶文化の中心地であった。古墳群は，洛東江の支流大伽川，安川流域の月山洞，本館洞，池山洞，古衙洞に分布している。1910年以来，分布調査や10基余りの古墳の発掘がおこなわれている。百数十基からなる池山洞古墳群は，標高311mの主山南腹に築かれ，竪穴式石室，箱式石棺を内部構造とする円墳群であり，わずかに1基横穴式石室墳が知られている。
