Mundugumor

The Mundugumor people of East Sepik Province in the northwest of New Guinea belong to several groups (called "strings"), but what is unique about them is that they have a rule that boys belong to their mother's group and girls to their father's group. The people of the Sepik region are also known for their magnificent artwork.
