Birth chart - Sentenzu (English spelling) Xiān tiān tú

Birth chart - Sentenzu (English spelling) Xiān tiān tú
A diagram created by Shao Yong (Kang Jie), a thinker of the Northern Song Dynasty in China. He believed that there must have been an original I Ching created by Fuxi before the I Ching was compiled into its current form, and he called it the "Innate I Ching" to distinguish it from the later "Acquired I Ching," and attempted to reconstruct it using several diagrams. His unique I Ching was adopted by Zhu Xi (the son), but was criticized by Huang Zongxi and Hu Wei of the Qing Dynasty. Figure 2 shows a typical example of an innate I Ching, and the orientation of the hexagrams is different from that of the so-called Acquired I Ching (Figure 1), which is based on the "Divination of the Hexagrams" of the I Ching.
