Creole

Japanese:
Creole
A term used in the Caribbean to distinguish people born and raised in the area from those born and raised in Europe or Africa. It is also used in the same sense to refer to the general lifestyle, including flora and fauna, cuisine, language, and architecture. The Spanish word criollo, which corresponds to the English and French words, mainly refers to European residents born in Latin America. In the United States, it mainly refers to French and Spanish immigrants who moved to Louisiana and their descendants. Both usages are derived from the historical event of colonizing the New World, but recently it is not limited to the context of these regions and is also used as a concept to indicate ``a new way of being that is born from the mixture of different things and is completely different from either of the originals.'' In linguistics, a common language that was created by the contact of different language groups and became a mother tongue in the next generation is called a creole language. Creole languages are found in the Caribbean, Africa, North and South America, and the Pacific region.
