Living Nature

...The later philosophers Schelling, Marx, and Nietzsche are examples of this. Although they all came from different perspectives, they all attempted to overcome anti-natural metaphysics and restore a natural relationship with nature, in other words, to restore the power of "living nature." This attempt by these philosophers was continued by 20th century philosophers such as Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty.
