Kuzumaki [town] - Kuzumaki
A town in Iwate County in the northern part of the Kitakami Highlands in northern Iwate Prefecture. A mountainous area upstream of the Mabechi River, it produces a lot of timber. Dairy farming, including dairy cow breeding, is thriving. The Hiraniwa Plateau is famous for the beauty of its white birch, azaleas, and rose hips. 434.96 km2 . 7,304 people (2010).
