A 19th century Ukrainian political secret society. It was named after the brothers Kyrillos and Methodios, who evangelized Christianity to the Slavs in the 9th century. It was formed in Kiev between December 1845 and January 1846. Its main organizers were MI Hlak, VM Bilozersky, and MI Kostomarov, and they were joined by PO Kryssy and the poet Shevchenko, and by the fall of 1846 its membership numbered 12. 19世紀ウクライナの政治的秘密結社。9世紀にスラブ人へのキリスト教の布教を行ったキュリロスKyrillosとメトディオスMethodios兄弟の名からその名がつけられた。1845年12月から46年1月にかけてキエフで結成された。中心的組織者はM.I.フラク,V.M.ビロゼルスキー,M.I.コストマーロフで,これにP.O.クリシ,詩人のシェフチェンコなどが加わり,46年秋にはその団員は12名を数えた。
