A term in Iranian music theory. Its origins lie in the word "voice," and it has various meanings, including (1) vocal music, (2) song (a song sung with a free rhythm), (3) a style of parts with no clear meter, (4) a piece of music with a free rhythm, (5) a melody or melodic form (equivalent to the Arab maqam). In vocal music in particular, the 'Ahbaz section, which focuses on the recitation of poetry, is the main focus, and the singer's skill is demonstrated by using techniques of singing decoratively while trembling the voice. イランの音楽理論用語。語源としては声という意から,(1)声楽,(2)歌(自由なリズムで歌う歌曲),(3)拍子が明確でない部分の様式のこと,(4)自由なリズムの楽曲,(5)旋律法,旋律型(アラブのマカームに相当するもの)など,さまざまな意味をもつ。特に声楽では,詩の朗唱を中心とするアーバーズの部分が主体となり,声をふるわせながら装飾的に歌う技法を用いて,歌い手の技量を聴かせる。
