Comintern

Japanese:
Comintern
The abbreviation for Communist International, founded in 1919. It is also known as the Third International. An international organization centered on the Russian Communist Party (Russian Social Democratic Labor Party) led by Lenin, who occupied the most left wing of the Second International, and with branches in communist parties in various countries. Unlike the Second International, it was active in colonial areas, but its activities were centered in Europe. It had a centralized system, and until 1921 Lenin, and after that Stalin, directly led the communist parties of each country. Until 1923, it promoted revolutionary movements in European countries, mainly Germany, while from 1919 to 1927 it supported the revolutionary movement in China, but ultimately failed. After that, it adopted a far-left tactic of attacking social democratic forces and fascist forces on the same level, but was dealt a blow when it lost its battle against the Nazis in Germany. After 1934, it tried to make a comeback with a popular front tactic, but this was also unsuccessful. Thus, without achieving its original goal of bringing about a world revolution, it was transformed into a tool of Soviet diplomacy in the 1930s and was dissolved in 1943 due to a shift in the Soviet Union's foreign policy.
