Brodribb, JH

…British actor. Born John Henry Brodribb. He toured mainly in the provinces, but in 1871 he appeared in Leopold Lewis's melodrama The Bells at the Lyceum Theatre in London, where he gained explosive popularity and became the greatest actor of the late 19th century.
