Kyogen Kataginu

...Although there are some items that are common to Noh costumes, the ones that are commonly used are relatively simple, such as plain sliding doors and noshime. Costumes unique to Kyogen include: (1) upper garments such as Kyogen kataginu (shoulder garment), jittoku (ten virtue garment), nagagoromo (long robe), and kakibaori (persimmon haori); (2) dressing such as striped noshime (striped noshime); (3) hakama such as Kyogen hakama and kukuribakama (tied hakama); (4) matching top and bottom costumes such as nagagamishimo (long top and bottom) and monpa (stuffed fur); (5) headgear such as sumizukin (square hood), noriki hood, swallowtail hood, hokuso hood, demon hood, sub-shrine hood, official hood, hermit hood, Daikoku hood, Binan wig, cotton hat, and hat (mousu). The most distinctive feature is the Kyogen Katagino, a stylish costume featuring large, everyday designs such as onigawara tiles, snails, dragonflies, sailing boats, and vegetables.

…能装束と共通する品はあっても，その中で常用されるのは素襖や熨斗目のように比較的簡素なものである。　狂言独自の装束として，(1)上衣の類では狂言肩衣（きようげんかたぎぬ），十徳（じつとく），長衣（ながごろも），柿羽織（かきばおり），(2)着付の類では縞熨斗目（しまのしめ），(3)袴の類では狂言袴，括り袴（くくりばかま），(4)上下揃いの装束としては長上下（なががみしも），モンパ(毛皮の縫いぐるみ)，(5)かぶり物の類では角頭巾（すみずきん），能力（のうりき）頭巾，燕尾頭巾，ほくそ頭巾，鬼頭巾，末社頭巾，官人頭巾，仙人頭巾，大黒頭巾，ビナン鬘，綿帽子，帽子（もうす）などがある。最も特徴的なのは狂言肩衣で，鬼瓦，カタツムリ，トンボ，帆掛け舟，野菜など，日常卑近な図柄を大きく描いた洒脱な装束である。…
