Candle
(Augustin Pyrame de Candolle) Swiss botanist. He worked to perfect the natural classification of plants and is said to be the founder of plant geography. His major works include "Introduction to the Classification of Plants," "General Treatise on Botany," and "Description of Succulent Plants." ( 1778-1841 )
