〘Noun〙① Buddhist term. The cause and effect that bring about a result do not coincide with the result. Generally, entering Buddhism through good deeds is called a good cause, and entering Buddhism through bad deeds is called a bad cause. ※Heike (early 13th century) vol. 11 "The bad cause of encountering the sacred teachings is not a good cause, but it also becomes the cause of attaining enlightenment." ② (From the point that it is not a good cause and effect) A memorial service for a child by a parent, or a memorial service or memorial service held for an enemy .
