Reverse

Japanese: 逆繧繝 - ぎゃくうんげん
Reverse

…It refers to painting the same color family in a gradual manner, from dark to light (or vice versa), without using a gradation method. Usually, the lightest (lightest) color is placed on the outside, and the colors gradually become darker (darker) toward the inside in two or three or more stages, but when the outside is dark and the colors gradually become lighter toward the inside, it is called reverse tsutsumi. For example, in blue-based tsutsumi, the changes are expressed as white tsutsumi, ultramarine, ultramarine + black, etc.
