In the Arthropoda phylum, the body is made up of parts of the body that are fused together to form the head, thorax, abdomen, etc., and the legs are long and divided into many mobile segments, with claws at the tips that allow them to walk. The surface of the body is covered with a chitinous cuticle (chitin skeleton). The heart is long and tubular, and as sensory organs, in addition to a pair of compound eyes unique to this genus, they usually also have ocelli and antennae.
