Born May 16, 1887. From the end of the Taisho era to the beginning of the Showa era, he became a member of the New Crafts Research Group "Mukei" and founded Kojinsha. In 1927, his "Ornament" (Branch of Flowers) was selected as a special prize at the Imperial Exhibition, and was selected again the following year. He created works that combined traditional techniques with a modern sensibility. He passed away on December 29, 1951. He was 64 years old. He was from Kagawa Prefecture.
