What is the cause?

The cause is unclear, but since it is often seen in people who sweat a lot in the summer, it is thought that sweat is an indirect factor. It may also be caused by allergies to food or metals in dental metals.

How symptoms manifest

Many small, transparent blisters suddenly appear on both sides of the palms, fingers, soles, etc., and are particularly common on the sides of the fingers. The small blisters may stick together and become as large as a soybean. They usually do not itch, but sometimes have a red spot around them and cause severe itching or mild pain. The small blisters gradually absorb and usually become round within 2 to 3 weeks. Scales ( Religion ) (keratin peels off from the surface of the skin) and heals.

Testing and diagnosis

Tinea fungus ( White blood cell ) A dermatologist will examine you to see if you have athlete's foot. If you have tinea on your feet and they are itching, you may have a condition called tinea rash, in which small blisters appear on the palms and fingers of your hands even though there is no infection, so you should also see a dermatologist in this case. If a metal allergy is suspected, you will be given a patch test.

Treatment methods

When small blisters appear and cause itching, topical steroid medications are effective. When the blisters dry up and the skin turns into round scales that peel off, urea ( Nyoso ) Apply the ointment containing this ingredient after washing your hands.

What to do if you notice an illness

In early summer, small blisters appear on the palms and fingers of the hands, but if they are not itchy and get better within a few weeks, you may want to avoid doing wet work as much as possible and try not to pick at the peeling skin. どんな病気か

　手のひらや手指、足の裏に小さな水疱(すいほう)が多数現れる再発性疾患です。

原因は何か

　原因は明らかではありませんが、夏期に汗の多い人にみられることが多いことから、汗が間接的に影響を及ぼしていると考えられています。また、食べ物や歯科金属中の金属に対するアレルギーが原因になっている場合もあります。

症状の現れ方

　手のひら、手指、足の裏などに、両側で内容が透明な小さな水疱が急に多数現れ、とくに指の側面によくみられます。小さな水疱はくっつき合って大豆大にまでなることもあり、通常かゆみはなく、時に周囲に紅斑を伴い強いかゆみや軽い痛みがあります。小さな水疱は次第に吸収され、通常2～3週間で丸い鱗屑(りんせつ)（皮膚表面からはがれ落ちる角質）になってはがれて治っていきます。

検査と診断

　白癬菌症(はくせんきんしょう)（水虫）の可能性について、皮膚科で検査をします。足に白癬があってじくじくしている時には、白癬疹といって菌は感染していないのに手のひらや指にも小さな水疱が多発することがあるので、このような場合も皮膚科を受診します。金属アレルギーの関与が疑われる場合はパッチテストを受けます。
