"The Gion Festival Nobunaga Chronicle"

...The ingenious stage props, such as the three-tiered lifting and lowering of the Kinkakuji Temple in the fourth act (Setsuyo Kikan), and the fact that the head of the doll of Tokichi Konoshita (corresponding to Kinoshita Tokichirō) was made to resemble the wooden statue of Hideyoshi at Kodaiji Temple in Kyoto (Jorurifu), became popular. As Ezukushi states, the title was originally Gion Festival Nobunaga-ki, but was later changed. As Yamato Kaidan Koro Ni Zensho states, "Because they had made Oda, Hashiba, and others, they did not feel shy," it is thought that this was out of fear of Nobunaga, but this is not clear.
