Kishira - Hard work
1798-1852 A painter from the late Edo period.
Born in 1790. Born in Kyoto. Studied under Kishimoto Ganku and became his son-in-law. Served in the Arisugawanomiya family. He was known to excel in portraits and bird and flower paintings. Died on March 19, 1855. He was 55 years old. His nickname was Koryo and his pen name was Gaun.
