Han Tak Helmet - Han Tak Helmet

A politician from the Southern Song Dynasty in China. A native of Anyang (Henan Province). Great-grandson of Han Qi (1008-75). He was instrumental in supporting the fourth emperor, Ningzong, and entered the political world as Ningzong's maternal relative. He was in conflict with the Right Prime Minister, Zhao Rugu (?-1196), and exiled him to the provinces through slander. When Zhu Xi (Zhu Xi), recommended by Zhao Rugu, reported the crimes of Han Laju, he expelled Zhu Xi's school as a false school, sparking the "Qingyuan Party Ban." For the next 14 years, he rejected righteous men and held sway over the government. In order to expand his own power, he attempted to recover the land of the Central Plains, and in 1206 he launched an army to attack the Jin Dynasty, but failed, which led to him making a large donation to the Jin Dynasty. He was held responsible and killed by Shi Miyuan, and the Han faction was wiped out from the political world, with their heads sent to the Jin Dynasty.

中国、南宋(なんそう)の政治家。安陽（河南省）の人。韓琦(かんき)（1008―75）の曽孫(そうそん)。第4代の寧宗(ねいそう)の擁立に功があり、その外戚として政界に登場した。右丞相(うじょうしょう)趙汝愚(ちょうじょぐ)（？―1196）と対立し、讒言(ざんげん)によってこれを地方に流した。趙汝愚の推薦する朱熹(しゅき)（朱子）が、韓侂冑の罪状を上奏したので、朱熹の学派を偽学として追放し、「慶元の党禁」を巻き起こした。以後14年にわたり、正義の士を退けて政権をほしいままにした。自己の権勢拡大のために中原(ちゅうげん)の地の回復を意図し、1206年金(きん)国討伐軍をおこして失敗、金(きん)に多額の歳幣(さいへい)を献ずることになった。その責任を問われて史弥遠(しびえん)に殺され、韓一派は政界から一掃され、首級は金に送られた。
